Topic review - Compute the length of module
Author Message
  Post subject:  Compute the length of module  Reply with quote
Dear all,

I have one question about the length of module and I would be very grateful if you kindly answer to my question.
The question is:
R=K[[a,b,c,d,e]]/I, where I=(a^2+b^5,ab+d^4,ac+e^3).
If J=(c,d) and m=(a,b,c,d,e) mod of I, then how to compute the length_R(m^5/Jm^4)=?
Thank you again for your help.
Best regards
Amir Mafi
