9. The MacDonald Groups

Having evaluated the combination of several strategies and several orderings for the examples considered, it became clear that strategy and ordering have to be chosen individually for each example. Now, one question is whether there exist families of examples whose members behave uniformly. We will explain the concept in Section 9.1. In the Sections 9.2 - 9.4 we will examine how the Macdonald groups behave with respect to this concept.
